2026 marks a special moment for TUMI – 10 years of working with partners around the world to make transport more sustainable, inclusive, and human-centred. As the UN Decade of Sustainable Transport begins, this anniversary invites both reflection and renewal: a chance to look back at what has been achieved, and to look ahead at what still needs to change.

In this February update, we celebrate milestones and momentum. From Salvador’s Sustainable Transport Award to new learning opportunities on gender, data, and equity, the stories in this edition show how long-term collaboration can deliver real impact – cutting emissions, improving access, and making everyday mobility safer and fairer. You’ll also find upcoming events, fresh research, and conversations that push us to think differently about transport’s role in our lives, including its connection to mental health and wellbeing.
