Feminist development policy recognizes the disproportionate impact of poverty, inequality, and discrimination on women and girls. To address these challenges, data plays a crucial role. GIZ Albania, under the Sustainable Urban Transport Project (SUTI), introduced a data-driven approach integrating gender-disaggregated data into urban mobility planning. This data highlights existing gender disparities and informs progress tracking. Moreover, it guides the design of interventions to combat gender inequality in urban mobility. We’ve condensed our findings and initiatives into a concise slide deck, divided into three chapters:

1. Gender Equality in Albania
2. Gender-Sensitive Urban Mobility Data from Tirana
3. Initiatives for Gender-Transformative Mobility in Tirana
