ITF Summit 2025

From May 21–23, 2025, TUMI will participate in the Annual Summit of the International Transport Forum (ITF) in Leipzig, Germany-the world’s largest gathering of transport ministers and the premier global transport policy event. Each year, over 1,400 participants from more than 80 countries-including ministers, business leaders, international organizations, and leading researchers-convene to discuss the future of transport through a strategic lens.

This year’s Summit, held under the Presidency of Chile, focuses on “Transport Resilience to Global Shocks,” exploring how governments and stakeholders can ensure the continuity of transport systems in the face of disruptions such as natural disasters, pandemics, cyber-attacks, and geopolitical crises.

TUMI at the ITF Annual Summit 2025

TUMI is proud to be involved in the session “ITF in Focus: Driving Gender Equality for Resilient Transport” on May 22, 5:00–6:15 pm (CCL – MPA 3). This interactive session will examine how inclusive and gender-responsive transport systems, along with greater representation of women in planning and leadership, can strengthen resilience, unlock economic opportunities, and improve sector performance. The session also marks the launch of the joint ITF–FIA Foundation study on gender and transport resilience and brings together stakeholders from government, business, and academia to advance the conversation on gender equality in transport.
