Just ahead of the Urban Mobility India Conference (UMI), TUMI and GIZ’s SUM-ACA project are hosting a workshop bringing together decision-makers and experts from local governments, public transport operators, and national authorities in India.

In an interactive workshop, participants will explore methodologies of risk assessment, crisis management frameworks and discuss how the transition to sustainable transport may strengthen the resilience of urban transport systems.

The Urban Mobility India (UMI) Conference and Expo is an annual flagship event organized by the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs, Government of India, established under the National Urban Transport Policy (2006). The UMI serves as a national platform to advance this policy through four key components: the Conference, Exhibition, Research Symposium, and Awards for Excellence.
