World Urban Forum (WUF12) – Cairo

We are excited to announce our participation in the 12th World Urban Forum (WUF12), a vital platform for discussing sustainable urban development, happening in November 2024. This global event will focus on addressing key urban challenges such as sustainable mobility, climate resilience, and gender equality. WUF12 brings together governments, industry leaders, and communities to foster collaborations and inspire new approaches to resilient urban development. TUMI is participating in various networking sessions, booth sessions and will be part of the Special Session “Empathy in Motion: budling inclusive cities” on Thursday 07 of November. 

Meet us at the TUMI Booth at WUF! Our booth features VR experience allowing you to learn more about how differently abled people are affected by inaccessible mobility systems. Also, approach us to learn more about the newly launched Hamburg Charter for Just and Inclusive Mobility.  

We’re also thrilled to highlight Mobilize Your City’s involvement in the discussion on “Developing the City through Mobility” on Thursday, 7 November, at the French Pavilion. Mobilize Your City will discuss how public transport can transform urban spaces, improve accessibility, and address environmental challenges.  

Additionally, the International Union of Railways (UIC) will hold a railway station walkthrough on Wednesday (6 November) to focus on looking at infrastructure through a gender and inclusive lens.
