Transport systems face unprecedented impacts of various crises, including the COVID-19 pandemic, armed conflicts, natural catastrophes or economic crisis (sometimes overlapping). Find our recent article on how transport authorities and operators navigate through multiple risks and threats at times of global crisis here .

The question arises: How can decision-makers, transport operators, and logistics companies effectively prepare for, manage, and enhance resilience in the face of multiple crises?  

To provide answers, TUMI is currently developing a comprehensive publication on crisis management in urban transport systems. You have hands-on experience in managing or analysing crisis in the transport sector? Then your input is wanted! 

The case studies will underpin the advantage of sustainable transport systems over fossil systems for societies and the economy – creating a powerful narrative for the necessary sustainability transformation.
