This module starts by outlining the benefits of non-motorised transport (NMT). It considers the different forms of regulation to which NMT is subjected, and describes the non-motorised transport planning process and the steps involved, drawing from an example pilot study conducted in Surabaya and successful measures in Bogotá and European cities.
