This case study is part of a trilogy of analyses on Bogotá’s strategy as a TUMI deep dive city in deploying electric buses. The trilogy covers the following topics: business models (this document; presenting the overall innovations implemented for the governance of electric bus procurement) prepared by C40 Cities; technological advancements (with details on pilot tests, cycles, and routes for electric buses); and charging infrastructure (highlighting how infrastructure and charging energy were supplied considering technical and regulatory aspects), the latter two prepared by The International Council on Clean Transportation (ICCT).
