Project Preparation Readiness Training (PreP) – Global
This 3h self-paced course helps you acquire practical skills for integrating sustainability into infrastructure planning and financing. You will learn to apply these skills to achieve financial close for sustainable projects and improve your work practices. This course is tailored for professionals from diverse geographical backgrounds working in infrastructure development, as well as anyone interested in enhancing their understanding of sustainability within their work context.
What will you learn?
- You will identify the different dimensions of sustainability and the themes that need to be considered in infrastructure projects.
- You will implement the basic concepts of project preparation, including key areas, stages, and Project Preparation Facilities (PPFs).
- You will map out financing options and motivations for investments in sustainable infrastructure.
- You will imagine and adapt cross-sectoral and integrated planning, including the enabling environment and the UNEP’s Ten International Good Practice Principles for Sustainable Infrastructure.
