TUMI Update June

Dear Friends of TUMI,
We’ve been bustling with activities and events recently. Let’s take a closer look at what we’ve accomplished and what’s coming up.

One of the highlights this past month was our participation in the ITF Summit in Leipzig, where we launched the Global Alliance for Feminist Transport. This initiative unites feminist efforts in transport and mobility, providing a global platform for knowledge exchange and scaling up action.

Our e-learning courses are still ongoing, and it’s not too late to join! By selecting the “Limited Access” option on our partner platform FutureLearn, you can access the full experience for free – even if you join later.

In Addis Ababa, we concluded the “Map It, Change It: Unleashing the Power of Gender Data for Safer Public Transport” mapathon. This event, part of the Digital Transport for Africa initiative, gathered and analyzed gender-sensitive mobility data to enhance accessibility, safety, and inclusivity for women.

Stay tuned for more updates and see below for all the latest news from our partners and projects.
